In the end, vintage means a whole host of eras. You’re more into the Roaring Twenties? Go for gilt and satin. More the ’50s? Go for lace! After the 60s? Choose a vintage wedding invitation in the colors of these decades: orange, yellow, floral motifs… In short, whatever period you choose, you’ll find the right wedding invitation for your ceremony.

       I create my invitation

  Message ideas

When it comes to announcement text, there’s no such thing as a vintage tone. It’s up to you to adapt to the era and your personality. Whatever period you choose, you can write a classic, elegant message or opt for a humorous tone. Nevertheless, we’d like to give you a helping hand with some sample texts.

Classical

Clarisse & Naïm invite you to celebrate their union on Saturday, July 18, 2022 at 4:30pm at Saint-Maur-des-Fossés town hall. They will then have the pleasure of meeting you for a cocktail followed by dinner at the Abbaye.

Positive

We are happy to announce that our wedding will take place on June 20, 2021 at the Rouen Town Hall at 3:30 pm. The good news is that we’re ready for anything for the best. The bad news is that we’re also ready for the worst! We’re counting on you to join us on this great day. Yours affectionately, Julien and Marie

Emotional

It’s official, we’re getting married! We’re delighted to invite you to our wedding on August 13, 2021 at Lille town hall at 3pm. The festivities will then continue at the Château de Flers from 5pm.

  Ready to get started?

       I am in!

Dress, decoration, meals, activities… How do you organize a vintage wedding?

    "robe

Your outfits: period and elegant

Here, it all depends on the era you’ve chosen. For the ’20s, opt for a long, loose-waisted wedding dress (no more corsets!) and accessorize with a headband or feathers. More ’40s? Choose a strapless ¾-cream or ivory dress. And why not add a pretty retro touch to your outfit with a cloche hat? More 70’s? Go for a look that’s closer to a bohemian wedding: a long, flowing dress, lace. Materials include lace, tulle and satin. For an offbeat touch, why not add a pretty pair of derbies or sneakers?

    "decoration

Your decor: vintage, of course!

We’re not teaching you anything here! It’s time to let loose with the decor, using vintage furniture in keeping with your theme. For the 20’s, add chic elements with gilding and satin, and depending on the year, add retro elements with pearls, crystal, macramé or pretty liberty flower motifs. And most of all: bet on the car! An arrival in a Chevrolet Bel Air, a 2CV, a combi and why not a Vespa!
